Today was a good day. The days are finally getting warmer and longer as we move through spring and closer to summer. We have been taking advantage of the fine days, by getting out and about as much as possible, so we don’t succumb to the ‘long-winter-cabin-fever’ feeling that usually happens about this time of year in our part of the world.
A walk to our local park with our children is always a great way to get out and enjoy the weather. I was really keen to grab my camera and use the time to practise as much as I could while we were outside. I am currently on a learning journey with photography, hence the reason for starting this blog.
So as soon as the warm morning sun streamed through our lounge, we were getting ready, with a whirlwind of breakfast, dishes, cleaning up, getting dressed, finding shoes, putting shoes on, doing hair, putting shoes on the correct feet, finding jackets, finding children, gathering children, counting children to ensure we had all 5 ready to go. And we were off.
Today was a good day. I love these moments with my children. Making memories. Capturing moments of time on camera.
